Not at all. The micro-welding process is completely painless and completely safe. The welder only reacts to the metal, and we place a protective leather barrier between the chain and your skin just to be extra cautious. You will just see a quick flash of light.

While the jewelry is designed to be permanent, it is easy to remove if necessary. You can simply cut the small jump ring (the ring that connects the chain) using a pair of sharp nail clippers or wire cutters. Save your chain and your stones — we can re-weld it for you later for a small fee.

No. TSA does not require you to remove fine jewelry for security screening. Your sterling silver and gold-filled pieces will travel with you seamlessly.

Medical professionals typically require you to remove all jewelry before an MRI or certain medical procedures. You can snip the jump ring at home beforehand, and we would be happy to re-weld it for you once you are cleared.

Yes! Stonebound Jewelry is available for private parties, bridal showers, birthdays, and local markets. We do not have a maximum guest limit for private events. We are based in Issaquah, WA, and travel is complimentary for events within a 20-minute radius (a small travel fee applies for locations outside of this radius).
